In Europe there will be the general corporate tax base

				23.04.2012
On April 19, 2012, on vote of the European Parliament there was adopted the resolution that transition to the general corporate tax base should occur without fail, after passing of a transition period.

The corporate tax base will be applied at first to the European cooperative societies. After five years of the preparatory period, the EU company should pass to use of the general corporate base, except for small and medium-sized EU companies.

Thus the general corporate base is meant as the uniform set of rules on charge of the taxable income. Now various legislative requirements of EU countries are applied.

Nevertheless, the general corporate base doesn't provide a uniform rate of the taxation for the companies.
Expert’s opinion

«Unconditional all changes should help first of all to the companies doing the business in several EU states: sometimes it is necessary to consider at the same time some rules by estimate of tax base at the consolidated report. The uniform tax base is urged to make easier and convenient business in Europe. We hope that it will be the best experience which can adopt other countries.»
