Sri Lanka extends the issuance of free visas

				09.04.2024
The Sri Lankan government has decided to extend until April 30, 2024 a pilot project to provide free visas to citizens of six countries (China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan). This was announced by the Minister of Tourism of the Republic. Previously, it was assumed that the free issuance would be stopped at the end of March.

With a free visa, citizens of the above countries will be able to rest in Sri Lanka for up to 30 days.

April 30 is the approximate end date of the program.
